So, for one reason or another you want to be able to turn off Flock’s built in spell check. To add another language, or if you are more l33t like my girlfriend(pwns), you can disable it rather simply.

1. Click on “Tools” in the Flock toolbar.
2. Click “Options” on the sub menu.
4. Click on “Advanced.”
5. Unselect “Check my spelling as I type.”
6. Restart Flock.

Spell check disabled.

This post is mostly taken from the excellent flock forums post.

  • Thanks for the tip Evan! Nice to know someone on the Flock team is listening.
  • Hey Loki,

It may be called "preferences" on ubuntu...

  • This only seems to work in Windows, as in ubuntu there is no "Options" selector.
